So summer is in full swing & that means sandals & slip ons. I grew up in the Key’s so as an island girl I love a good pair of sandals.

Some people are not a fan of the whole flip flop/sandals/slip ons thing – hell, there is a quote by the great Karl Lagerfeld where he says that he is “Physically allergic to flip-flops.” – I am not one of those people. I think that adding a nice pair of slip ons can give a look that “cool girl” vibe (whatever the hell that is)

To me the key is adding pieces that are a bit girly to the look. This neutralizes that rugged look of the sandals.
