Okay I know I am going to get a lot of grief for this, but Valentines Day is probably my least favorite holiday. Look I’m all for love and stuff, but the overly showy “look what my man did” bs I’m not a fan of.

Now that that’s off my chest, the Mr. & I do g out and do something special, which means that an outfit for the occasion is needed.

Another thing that I am not a huge fan of is overly tight or revealing outfits. I just don’t think it’s needed. That said, every once in a while – like for Valentines Day – I like to trade in my usual go to looks for something a little  cheeky. For me that means balance. So if you are going to go for a crop top or low cut top, pair it with either pants or a midi length skirt. If you are going to go short on the bottom, go long on top. The key here is to not look like your man payed to go out with you.
